If you are in-between sizes, and you're a beginner, the larger size is usually preferable because it allows more room for error. If you are more experienced, then the smaller size tends to be better. If you currently have a rope that you are comfortable jumping with, we recommend measuring your current rope, not including the handles, for a comparison.

- How is AMP different from the Classic Crossrope set?
- AMP is the first interchangeable, Bluetooth-connected jump rope system from Crossrope. Built with the same durability and high-level precision engineering as all our classic Crossrope sets, AMP’s integrated technology gives you real-time jumping feedback inside the Crossrope app. This offers a more fun and engaging workout for those looking for a more guided workout experience.
- How do AMP handles compare in size to Classic handles?
- The AMP handles weigh 5.7 Oz (162 g) each. The handle shape and diameter is about halfway between our classic Slim and Power handles.
- Do I need an app subscription to use AMP?
- Yes, a membership to our Crossrope App is required to unlock AMP Bluetooth features on your iOS or Android device. Lite membership: $4.99/mo. Standard Membership: $8.25/mo (billed $99 annually) or $14.99/mo for the first year. $119/yr after. Billed in USD separately through the Crossrope app. Cancel anytime. With your subscription, pair your AMP handles to the Crossrope app and take advantage of personalized jump targets, free jump mode, instructor-led classes, benchmark mode, global leaderboards, workout stats, and tracking.
The AMP handles without a membership still live up to the high-performance standards, but you will not have access to its connected features.

Explore app benefits here. - Can I use AMP handles with my existing Crossrope ropes?
- Yes, AMP handles are compatible with all Crossrope ropes and Ropeless attachments - except for our 1st generation models. They have the same click-in system that we have been supporting since the Fall of 2017. If you have any questions about your specific ropes please reach out to customer service.
- Are AMP handles covered by warranty?
- AMP handles are covered by two separate warranties. The Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the material and workmanship of the product. A One-Year Warranty covers the battery and electronic components inside the AMP handle. For additional protection, we offer an optional Extended Two-Year Warranty.
- What is Crossrope’s exchange/return policy?
- We have a 60-day, no-hassle returns and exchange policy which means you can try the ropes and return them if you don't love them. If you are purchasing our ropes as a gift, and your gift receiver needs a size or product exchange, we'll be there to help.
This return policy does not apply to the Crossrope Membership. We recommend starting with the monthly option if you are not sure about the investment yet. The annual Membership will offer the best deal but monthly options are great for those that want more flexibility. - How does the extended AMP warranty work?
- By purchasing the 1, 2, or 3-year extended warranty, you will extend the standard One-Year Warranty coverage on battery and electronic components for an extra 1, 2, or 3 years from the time of AMP Set/Handles purchase. The extended warranty must be purchased within 60 days after your initial AMP purchase.
- What data is AMP capable of tracking?
- AMP tracks your number of jumps, current JPM (jumps per minute), max JPM, average JPM, maximum jump streak without tripping, jumps in each interval, workout history, jump targets, and so much more!
- Can I use AMP handles with heavier ropes?
- We do not recommend using your AMP handles for high volume use with ropes 3 LBs or higher. Occasional use is acceptable.
- How do you charge the AMP Battery?
- Your AMP handles come charged, so you do not need to charge the battery in order to get started. But, when the time comes, simply unscrew the green cap and remove the battery from the handle. Then, using any Micro USB cable (one is included with your handles), plug the cable into the charging port of the battery and the other end into a power source such as your laptop or a USB wall adapter. Once the battery is fully charged, you can reinsert into the device and start using it again.
