I bought the 3lb ropeless set for when travelling and struggling for space inside my room. They are exactly what I was looking for in terms of effort required to give them a good spin to get my heart rate going. The build quality is second-to-none. Combined with the spin wheel I don't feel as though I have to compromise my exercise routine now when travelling. The kit is not cheap but defo worth every penny. Thank you Crossrope.
I procured my 1st order in less than 2 days.
e.g. 11:30 PM Monday got here 2 PM Wednesday
just in time for jumping ...
Everything was as expected, meaning order correct & handles attached properly.
IMHO
I bought the HD handles so I could use any weight rope along with the 1 & 2# ropes.
LOL
more on that later ...
I've been using Chinese weighted ropes which are ****.
All failed.
e.g. aluminum handle wore through, C clip flew out, weight threads GIGO, worn out plastic rope in middle (had to MOD using industrial parts)
e.g. like the $20 leather belts in stores (bonded or pleather)
Buy a real belt instead, lasts forever.
SO ...
I normally do 800x REPs/day, no issue.
The old ropes had most of the weight in the handles.
not these ...
The rope uncoiled easily from packing.
I immediately noticed it had more pull to it & less deforming, so I changed my jumping style accordingly.
Unlike the Chinese ropes which whip you & leave welts, these remind you to jump properly.
The other benefit with these is the rope doesn't hit the deck if you jump properly.
e.g. won't wear out unless tired jumping
FINALLY
The 1# rope will give you more of a workout than the cheap 1# Chinese ropes.
I'm glad I didn't buy the 4 & 5# ropes, would have kicked my S.
ROFLMAO
I love the new ropeless jump ropes. I teach fitness classes and took my cross rope jump rope to use in my class. I noticed that not everyone could jump rope and some people got frustrated. So I started to look for rope less jump ropes. I didn’t know that cross rope made a ropeless version and I was very excited to get one because I already had the really nice handles. When I used the ropeless version in my class, everyone loved them! They are so easy to use for anyone. I especially love them at home because they are quiet and I won’t hit one of my pets with the ropes.
I started using Crossrope for exercise and love them! Skipping is such a good exercise. These ropes are easy to use and give good results! Go for it!
After 4 years of continuous usage my original set handle broke and cross promptly replaced under warranty.
I bought an Amp Crossrope and am doing some cardio again after a couple of years concentrating on strength. It’s been great but tough. I’m enjoying the workouts on the app and am looking forward to seeing how I progress with the different jumps skills. Definitely worth the money and I can feel my cardio getting better. Give it a go, helps with strength (weighted ropes) cardio fitness and endurance 😊
I purchased the rope-less lean set from Crossrope. I am having a blast using them and I find them so much more effective than just my walking routine!
Thank you so much!
I have had various handles, ropes and weights over the last 4 years all combinations have given some great work outs.
I recently purchased the 1/2LB rope from Crossrope and I’m really happy with it. The weight feels just right—heavy enough to get a solid workout, but still smooth and easy to control. The quality is excellent, and it definitely adds intensity compared to a regular rope. Highly recommend if you want to level up your jump rope training!
Because the handles are sooooo heavy and hard to move, my wrists give out. Not a good rope set up for me. I'll stash it on a shelf and buy a lighter brand somewhere. Tks ep
Only recently discovered weighted jump rope and started with a non crossrope rope due to perceived cost but I'm addicted and decided to commit to buying CR and it's been a game changer. 1/4lb is my favourite but throw in the 1/2 and 1lb to make sure I'm getting maximum burn.
I have been using 1/4 and 1/2 lbs for past couple of years and felt like I need to push it so ordered 3/4 lb and this did the job. Love that it is clippable.
I recently received three ropes from Crossrope as part of a size exchange, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. What really impressed me is that I didn’t even purchase directly from them, yet they still went above and beyond to help me. Their team was incredibly supportive, responded promptly to every message, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
The ropes themselves are top-notch — the build quality, feel, and performance are exactly what I had hoped for. I’ve been wanting to own Crossrope products for a long time, and finally having them feels amazing. I’m genuinely grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.Highly recommended!
The ropes are well made and the weight makes it easier to swing then the flimsy ones. I'm currently jumping in my basement on carpet but may get a mat to jump outside. So far, I'm pleased with it.
Just what I needed for the gym (floor covering is not ideal for skipping). Easy to carry.
Great rope and great support and guidance, a great way to have fun getting fit
After using the quarter and half pound rope I purchased the 1 pound. I totally felt the difference- it is great!!
