As a single father who needs his fitness fix, this has been huge! The programs are quick and offer great health benefits. Watching that little grey pace line and it telling how many skips you need to get a PR is perfect if you’re a bit competitive. What’s better than trying to outdo yourself. The rope changes are great too! I’ve only been doing this almost 2 weeks and already I’ve noticed a boost in my cardio and endurance. I’m very much a gym addict but weekdays with the kids and my job I can’t make it there and this scratches that itch. If anything I have to stop myself from overdoing it, it’s very fun for me. Look up the benefits of skipping rope and spend the $$$. I doubt you’ll regret it, I sure don’t.

I love my new rope, so much more challenging than my others but with the assistance of the app I am now pushing myself harder as I can record and see my breakdowns.
My only bug bear is that the app is already expensive and there is a large % of workouts that require the premium membership which isn’t a great, I’m really disappointed by that!

I bought the AMPjump rope set. Very good quality product with good grip on the handles. I took the size below the recommended one and it's perfect for me. Mat recommended to avoid rapid wear of the ropes. An annual subscription to the application is required for recording sessions

I've been using my crossrope amp set and I couldn't be happier. The Amp workouts really help motivate me to get the best workout possible.

Though I’ve only had a couple weeks of use, I can say that this is a pretty convenient piece of equipment.

Jumping is actually pretty fun, and the stats that are tracked are very useful. However there are some drawbacks.

1) Cost - It’s hard to see a jump rope and want to spend $100. Beyond that, you need a monthly subscription for using amp. So what you’re really buying is a tool. Whether it’s a home improvement tool or piece of exercise equipment, the price can be comparable. Then, you’re paying for a service, not unlike any other monthly subscription.

2) Space - This only pertains to some folks that maybe has shorter cielings. I personally have my gym in my basement, which is only 7’ish feet. Holding the jump rope properly keeps it low enough, but I can’t double unders.

3) This could be just from such short time using the app, and not having a chance to fuller explore it, but would really like if the ‘classes’ or ‘sessions’ played out more like a spin class, or any of the VR boxing games, where you’re jumping along with a trainer. As is, I’ve only seen these animations that show an exercise.

So overall, I actually highly recommend giving it a try. The thing that made me pull the trigger was summer discount, and 60 day money back guarantee. But I do plan to keep it beyond that 60 days.
