I broke several Chinese **** ropes which were GIGO.
I transitioned to the 1# CR which is way safer.
I felt like I was stagnating, so I jumped to the 2# CR.
I own the 3,4 & 5# CRs too.
You will definitely feel the burn with a 2# rope.
e.g. doing this for quick cardio
This is like a real workout.
I can only do 50x a set rather than the normal 100x.
e.g. 800x/day
MUSCLES AFFECTED
calves & hands > tight
I feel the muscles developing in the arms, legs & shoulders.
I will use the heavier ropes in the future.
patience ...
no use getting hurt ...
Absolutely happy about my new AMP and ropes! I will buy soon heavier ropes as my motivation to progress is at top! Thank you Crossrope!
Great Customer Service and highest quality products. Not to mention their great app with tons of workouts for every level, Beginner to Advanced and their team feature keeps me accountable for meeting my monthly goal.
Thank You Crossrope--Keep up the good work!
I have been jumping rope for years now and using Crossrope, too. I was feeling that my endurance session with the 1/2 lb had become a little too easy, but the 1 lb always left me too exhausted. I could not make equally long sessions or sets with it and had to take too many breaks.
That is where the 3/4 lb came in and I absolutely love the niche it fills. It is demanding but in a way that still enables longer sessions. Can't wait to incorporate it more into my workouts.
Been using cross ropes for years now, and finally got the newer style, and the Xtra heavy 2lbs. Amazing quality, and freaking torching the forearms with the new handles!
I am an early adopter of crossrope. I got in at the the ground level. Skipping rope is king. The heavy ropes are where it’s at. Quick and efficient workouts with the perfect amount of resistance/strain.
I have been boxing for over 21 years now which means I have been jumping rope (skipping) for 21 years also and I have never come across a better/smoother/durable rope and believe me I've gone through hundreds of all price ranges and styles. The "Get Lean" pack is perfect for everyone. The packaging was beautiful also, would easily make an excellent gift. I will never buy any other rope brand again - 10/10.
I didn't ever imagine I would spend a lot on a jump rope, but after wasting money on cheap ropes and being unhappy with them, I thought it was worth a try. I'm not disappointed--Crossrope makes quality ropes and handles that work well and look good. I'm still a beginner, but I think Crossrope will get me to the next level.
I have been jumping for about 15 minutes with the 2-pound ropes in the mornings for a few years now, and I can definitely see an immediate improvement in how I feel (physically and mentally) on the days that begin this way. Thank you, Crossrope!
Customer service at this point is Grade A… it is always quick and easy to get things ordered. Thank you
Your ropes are excellent – the best I have used so far. I must admit I haven’t tried many brands, but I am truly very satisfied with your product.
My main expectation is that the ropes will last for a long time, especially since I always jump on a mat.
Apart from that, congratulations on your great work and outstanding customer service!
Best regards from Romania,
Andrei
I've had other ropes before, but I never got to be consistent when doing double unders. Since I got my Crossrope 8 months ago, I'm able to do 20 or 30 in a row. Not bad for someone who is already 54 years old!
Packaging and quality is superb.
Worth it and looking forward to add more crossropes.
Love these jump ropes. Their ordering and return process needs improvement, but the ropes are fantastic.
I bought the 3lb ropeless set for when travelling and struggling for space inside my room. They are exactly what I was looking for in terms of effort required to give them a good spin to get my heart rate going. The build quality is second-to-none. Combined with the spin wheel I don't feel as though I have to compromise my exercise routine now when travelling. The kit is not cheap but defo worth every penny. Thank you Crossrope.
I procured my 1st order in less than 2 days.
e.g. 11:30 PM Monday got here 2 PM Wednesday
just in time for jumping ...
Everything was as expected, meaning order correct & handles attached properly.
IMHO
I bought the HD handles so I could use any weight rope along with the 1 & 2# ropes.
LOL
more on that later ...
I've been using Chinese weighted ropes which are ****.
All failed.
e.g. aluminum handle wore through, C clip flew out, weight threads GIGO, worn out plastic rope in middle (had to MOD using industrial parts)
e.g. like the $20 leather belts in stores (bonded or pleather)
Buy a real belt instead, lasts forever.
SO ...
I normally do 800x REPs/day, no issue.
The old ropes had most of the weight in the handles.
not these ...
The rope uncoiled easily from packing.
I immediately noticed it had more pull to it & less deforming, so I changed my jumping style accordingly.
Unlike the Chinese ropes which whip you & leave welts, these remind you to jump properly.
The other benefit with these is the rope doesn't hit the deck if you jump properly.
e.g. won't wear out unless tired jumping
FINALLY
The 1# rope will give you more of a workout than the cheap 1# Chinese ropes.
I'm glad I didn't buy the 4 & 5# ropes, would have kicked my S.
ROFLMAO
I love the new ropeless jump ropes. I teach fitness classes and took my cross rope jump rope to use in my class. I noticed that not everyone could jump rope and some people got frustrated. So I started to look for rope less jump ropes. I didn’t know that cross rope made a ropeless version and I was very excited to get one because I already had the really nice handles. When I used the ropeless version in my class, everyone loved them! They are so easy to use for anyone. I especially love them at home because they are quiet and I won’t hit one of my pets with the ropes.
I started using Crossrope for exercise and love them! Skipping is such a good exercise. These ropes are easy to use and give good results! Go for it!
