If you are in-between sizes, and you're a beginner, the larger size is usually preferable because it allows more room for error. If you are more experienced, then the smaller size tends to be better. If you currently have a rope that you are comfortable jumping with, we recommend measuring your current rope, not including the handles, for a comparison.

I got the 1/4 lb. rope and slim handles and am happy with my purchases. At 5'6", I followed the size chart and got the size M, but it was too long - I had to hold my arms way out to my sides, which was uncomfortable. I then got the size S and it is good. The size chart recommends to size up if you're new or at the top end of a size range, but I'd recommend sizing down. I like the weight of this rope as I'm a runner - it is good for speed work when I can't get outside. I also like the smoothness of the rope rotating. Some ropes with metal connectors have a hitch as they rotate, but this does not; it is perfectly smooth. Returning the size M was an easy process. Be aware that they do not provide a pre-paid label, just an address label. This was fine by me, as their return policy states that they will deduct the return postage from the refund if they pre-pay - no deduction is needed when you pay the postage on your own. The refund was issued promptly. Good ropes and good service!

I love these jump ropes. I use to use the ones with weighted handles but the weighted ropes are definitely the best way to go. These ropes are extremely durable, store easy, can take anywhere, and flexible. The quick attachment to the handles make switching out different ropes very easy. The prices are reasonable and these are a high quality rope. I recommend these to anyone.

The 1/4lb, 1/2lb, 1lb, and 2lb ropes all feel different on my body. The green outer lining of the 1/4lb rope cracked, then the entire thing subsequently broke, so it was recently replaced. Now I'm back in business.

Best ropes ever. Have always been an avid weight lifted but with COVID I couldn't access a gym so decided to give this a try...well I'm hooked. Provides a phenomenal workout in a short amount of time. This combined with body weight and bands is all you need to get in shape and stay in shape! Worth every penny!
