1. It saved me a lot of time
I honestly didn’t realize I could get a full-body workout in as little as 10 minutes. But yeah, it’s possible. With Crossrope all I did was grab my ropes, load up one of their app workouts, and hit go. No need to go to the gym or pack my bags. Within 5 minutes I was drenched in sweat and I could feel every muscle in my body working.
2. I tripped up less
Some people get intimidated by the idea of jumping rope because they think they’re clumsy and uncoordinated. I was the same way. But I could immediately tell the difference when I started using Crossrope, especially the white 1/2 LB rope. It’s got the perfect amount of weight to make it easier to feel the rope turning around your body. This helped me slow down my pace and time my jumps better. On day one I was making way fewer mistakes.
3. I got stronger
Who would’ve thought that I could get stronger with jumping rope? So the magic is in the weight of the ropes (not handles). Ranging from 1/4 LB up to 2 LBs (they also have some heavier ones but that’s just crazy), these ropes engage all your upper body muscle groups. It’s an unbelievable feeling when you use these things for the first time - I could feel my core, back, shoulders, and arms engaging. Within a few weeks I could feel my strength improving.
4. The ropes didn't break
Every cheap plastic jump rope I’ve ever used either broke on me or got so tangled I had to throw it out. This was not the case with Crossrope. In fact, if you take care of them your ropes can last you years. Apparently they’ve got this special coating applied to them that makes them more durable and you can actually use them on any surface (but I do suggest the mat).
5. I never got bored
I get bored easily with monotonous workouts like running on a treadmill. It’s just not for me. With Crossrope, I felt I was always engaged and excited to do my workout. There’s always a new workout to try in the app. There’s a new challenge every month. There’s always a new skill to learn. It’s the most fun I’ve had doing cardio in a long time.
