Meet Todd, (@moseawell) a full-time IT professional and part-time photographer, videographer, and basketball official. And now Todd can also add “Crossrope Model” to his list of skills.
We had the pleasure of meeting Todd back in April 2024 when he won our first “Casting Call” contest. It was amazing to learn how much jumping rope has played a part in Todd’s daily life.
“In my part-time jobs as a Photographer, Videographer, and Basketball Official, physical activity is very important. All require movement. I have to make sure my body is able to handle the consistent moving & not get tired. Exercise is crucial for me to be flexible & be at my best.”
Todd is an avid runner and skilled jumper. He has run 62 races since 2006 and it’s his goal to run at least 1 race in every state. He has also run at least 1 mile every day for over 4 years!
Todd uses Crossrope daily to help improve his runs in three major ways. First, it has helped him to be “more explosive and quick in the lower body.” It has had a tremendous impact on his heart health and lastly, it has given him a great total body workout that keeps him lean, yet well-defined.
“I use Crossrope 5-6 days a week. Some Sundays, I jump too, making it 7 days a week... When not in basketball season, some days I’ll use it twice a day. I know, I have problems.”
Todd’s other interests include spending time with his family and friends, biking, traveling, and sleeping.
“I feel pretty invincible and well-oiled while jumping. I am not the BEST JUMPER but I am confident. Each session brings about more confidence.”
“The majority of the time I am jumping rope in the gym. The gym goers are accustomed to me now but when I first started I received a lot of stares. Not that I am looking for attention but I like bringing awareness to the art of JUMPING ROPE.”
