How is Crossrope different from a normal jump rope?
- Traditional jump ropes make learning how to jump rope very difficult because they don’t offer feedback when you’re jumping. In other words, you can’t feel the rope rotating around your body, which makes it challenging to time your jumps properly.
Weighted jump ropes don’t just support weight loss and strength training, but they also help you learn proper form and rhythm for mastering the exercise.
Specifically, a weighted jump rope will do three things:
1) It will allow you to feel the rope turning around your body - which makes it easier to time your jumps.
2) It will slow down your rotation just enough to allow you to maintain a nice consistent pace.
3) The weight of the rope will help you burn up to 20% more calories. It also engages more muscles than a traditional rope so you will build strength and endurance in one simple movement.

How should I determine my size?
All of our ropes are sized to your height. The recommended user height ranges are provided on all of our product pages. Please note that our jump ropes are NOT adjustable. For further guidance, please see our jump rope sizing page.
What do I need to start jumping rope?
In order to get started, all you’ll need is to order your jump rope set, download the Crossrope App for tutorials and the 14-day beginner challenge, and find a clear space to jump.
The recommended space for jumping rope is 10 ft front-to-back, 7 ft side-to-side, and a ceiling height roughly equal to your rope length. Make sure your ceiling is free from anything that may obstruct your jumping such as lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, etc.
