We ran this with our private community back when the 2016 Rio Olympics were running in the summer. It was such a fun event that we've decided to bring it back for everyone.

What You're Going to Need
The requirements are simple.
You're going to need a timer for timing your sets and a set of jump ropes that range in weight. I'll be using all four ropes from our Get Fit Bundle.
We also highly recommend using a jump rope mat to protect your joints and your ropes.

How the Jumpathlon Challenge Works
OK let's get to the good stuff.
There are four events that you're going to have to complete for the Jumpathlon Challenge. Each event will give you a score depending on how you perform.
Once you complete all four events, you will tally up your scores and see where you fall - Gold, Silver, or Bronze (score breakdown is at the end of the post).
Let's take a look at the four jump rope events below:
EVENT 1: 100 DOUBLE UNDERS
Objective: complete 100 double unders for time.
Rope used: 1/4 LB rope from the Get Fit Bundle
Less than 1 minute >> 10 points
Less than 1:30 >> 9 points
Less than 2:00 >> 8 points
More than 2:00 >> 7 points
Less than 100 doubles >> 6 points
When complete, mark down your score for the event: __________________________.
Rest for 1 minute before moving on to next event.
EVENT 2: 100 BACKWARD JUMPS
Objective: complete 100 backwards jumps for time.
Rope used: 1/2 LB rope from the Get Fit Bundle.
Less than 1 minute >> 10 points
Less than 1:30 >> 9 points
Less than 2:00 >> 8 points
More than 2:00 >> 7 points
Less than 100 backward jumps >> 6 points
When complete, mark down your score for the event: __________________________.
Rest for 1 minute before moving on to next event.
EVENT 3: 200 HEAVY ROPE JUMPS
Objective: complete 200 heavy rope jumps for time.
Rope used: 1 LB rope from the Get Fit Bundle.
Less than 1:30 >> 10 points
Less than 2:00 >> 9 points
Less than 2:30 >> 8 points
More than 2:30 >> 7 points
Less than 200 jumps >> 6 points
When complete, mark down your score for the event: __________________________.
Rest for 1 minute before moving on to next event.
EVENT 4: ENDURANCE JUMPING EVENT
Objective: complete as many jumps as you can without missing or stopping.
Rope used: 2 LB rope from the Get Fit Bundle
More than 4:00 (no misses) >> 10 points
More than 3:00 >> 9 points
More than 2:00 >> 8 points
More than 1:00 >> 7 points
Less than 1:00 >> 6 points
When complete, mark down your score for the event: __________________________.
When you're finished the event, tally up all of your points and see where you fall:
GOLD
37-40 POINTS
SILVER
33-36 POINTS
BRONZE
29-32 POINTS
