Tools for this Workout
Here are the tools you're going to need for today's workout:
The Crossrope Starter Set is the best way to introduce yourself to heavy jump rope training. The set comes with two ropes - the light black 1/4 lb Agility rope and the heavy orange 1 Lb Intensity rope. I'll be using the heavy one for this workout.
The Crossrope Starter Set is the perfect introduction to weighted jump rope training.
Note - the Starter Set is not mandatory for this workout, but a heavier jump rope will definitely provide better results.
Jump Rope Workout Finisher
Today's 5 minute workout is built around the EMOM workout protocol - we'll be doing high-knee jumps with the heavy rope Every Minute on The Minute.
Here's your objective: set your timer to beep every 60 seconds and complete 5 total rounds of 50 high-knee jumps every minute on the minute. Remember - for EMOM - when you finish your 50 reps, whatever remains in the minute is your rest time. So pace yourself wisely.
